I did not realize it until this morning; God was answering some questions swirling around in my head recently about SPIRITUAL AND NATURAL PRODUCTIVITY as I prepare for a NEW YEAR. Also, confronting the issue of spiritual accountability for growth based on the gifts and talents that we have been entrusted with.
John 15:2, “He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that bear fruit so they will produce even more.”
1. Obedience to the Word – Understand Why Jesus Cursed the Fig Tree? The appearance of being fruitful, but lacked fruit… (Mark 11:12-14) … We are COMMANDED TO BE FRUITFUL (Genesis 1:22)
2. God’s Timing – (Ecclesiastes 3:1-6)
3. Allowing the Holy Spirit to prune, shape, and transform our lives (John 15:2)4.
End Result: Produce an abundance of spiritual and natural fruit (Growth)
